NEW LETTER : TO EU COMMISSION (APOLOGY TO EUROPE PROPOSAL)

Note please : Croatian government “contacts” didn’t provide me with the correct address for my inquiry nor acknowledged the receipt – they’re too “high” for that (but EP did – thank you!)

NEW LETTER SUBMITTED BY VOICEOFCROATIA.NET :

TO EU COMMISSION – THE APOLOGY TO EUROPE PROPOSAL

Dear EU Executives,

Voiceofcroatia.net and I personally refuse to assume that Europe is to be hated and hostile to Croatian struggle for independence, as European enemies and increasing number of peoples in European countries are prone to believe. Thus, I propose the APOLOGY LETTER for Croatian government and President to sign, for which I seek your support.

We shall never accept that our legionnaires who fought for European Croatia be imprisoned in Europe (by ICTY). Particularly the French legionnaire and Croatian hero general Ante Gotovina is made victim of misconduct and lies in politics, which unfortunately makes many hate Europe.

Croatian politicians brief TelAviv and Washington on their EU integration progress and obligations, thus EU decision-making process and the source of such a tragedy are unclear (HINA news on Foreign Minister Jandrokovic’s visit to Israel on 17 May confirms my statement: http://dalje.com/hr-hrvatska/foto–jandrokovic-u-izraelu-potpisao-dva-vazna-ugovora/305709 – I’ll translate it for you, if necessary).

Croatian public is poorly informed, and the blame for all injustices will be on Europe. But it’s unjust: Croatian politicians owe an apology for their manipulation and their huge injustices implemented particularly via ICTY (The Hague).

Not everything should be bureaucratized and determined by cheating souls without faith – please allow us to proceed in this way for moral reasons. Neither Europe nor Croatians can support such injustices.

Please support VoC’s Apology letter proposal before Croatian government and President, to whom it’s been also emailed.

Initially, it was directed to the European Parliament (Croatian politicians lied they were running for it in 2009!), but it’s kindly redirected to your institution. Due to the space limitation for submitting the comments, please read it at my website at http://verusblog.voiceofcroatia.net/?p=506

Sincerely yours,

    Voiceofcroatia.net Mailbox on 18 May 2010:

“While stressing that, following the entry into the NATO, the key Croatian foreign policy priority is joining European Union, foreign minister Jandrokovic updated the prime minister Netanyahy about entry process. He stressed in connection with it that Croatia is ready to implement all necessary reforms and fulfill the remaining duties so to finalize the technical negotiations until the end of this year.” HINA (Croatia’s state news agency), 17 May 2010.

While reading the news on two new agreements between Croatia and Israel signed during minister Jandrokovic’s visit in Israel this May 2010 (in custom and investment areas – no other details being provided, apart from a detailed lists submitted to Israeli officials regarding Croatia’s investment opportunities) – one must wonder why Croatian prime minister promises to bring about the reforms and fulfillment of its obligations towards the EU. What Israel has to do with it? Are Croatia’s Nato membership and EU entry process run by Israel (and Washington)? Now, quite officially? Is Israel making the terms of joining EU for Croatia? Who’s responsible for injustices and ICTY? Minister Jandrokovic would need to clarify this decision-making process and explain why does he have to brief Israel on its relations with the EU? The public (European as Croatian) is entitled to know about this.

This doesn’t promote Israel among informed Croatians, knowing that official Croatia presented the arrest and extradition of best Croatian generals to The Hague as a condition to join the EU? Hence, Croatian yet another HDZ minister (and a close ally of former prime minister Sanader) is beginning to reveal with whom he’s making the terms of joining the so-called euroatlantic integrations? In our common understanding, one normally briefs on the fulfillment of the terms those with whom they’re agreed on, and imposed by, unless in our world everything is upside down.

What role is the EU playing? Does it brief Jerusalem/Tel Aviv (and Washington) on its members, their mutual agreements/terms, is it subordinated to it? Only in that case, Jandrokovic’s report on reforms and obligations to Jerusalem would be kind of “normal”. Not to mention that the Minister provided no information on trade/custom agreements he just signed, particularly not about new Croatia’s terms and obligations arising from those agreements.
